CORE Academy

CORE Academy offers intensive and individualized education programs for students with autism and other developmental and intellectual disabilities. Our goal is to provide quality educational services to as many children with special needs as possible, creating an environment where each student can learn in a manner that best suits his or her needs.

Each CORE Academy student receives hands-on educational training that accommodates his or her skill deficits, general adaptive functioning and behaviors that may interfere with learning. Our full day school program serves children and young adults.

Small group activities alternate with intensive one-to-one sessions which teach students to participate in social situations and to relate to classmates. Every student's schedule of learning activities is especially designed to meet its particular needs, but all the programs place an emphasis on language development and social interaction.

When a CORE Academy student reaches age 15, they are eligible to enroll in CORE Life to acquire job and life skills training. Learn more about CORE Life here.
